"Absolute treat of a hotel in beautiful Dunkeld"

10.0

What a treat to stay in this wonderful hotel. The interior is designed so beautifully, with such lovely attention to details. We stayed in room 2 and the bed was amazing (firm but comfy), shower was amazing, sheepskin rugs to put your feet on when you get out of bed, and a delicious continental breakfast delivered to your door in a basket each morning (juice, croissant from the local bakery made famous by Flora from British Bake Off), yogurt and granola, butter and jam) which you can eat in your room or in the dining room. The owner Fraser himself offered us coffees of our choosing, also delicious. In summer you can also bring your basket to the river picnic tables. Absolute treat, would love to stay again.

"A uniquely Scottish stay at the Taybank"

9.0

A gorgeous place to stay on the doorstep of magical Dunkeld. Thursday night was an absolute highlight with live local music in the bar. The breakfast hamper was also a really lovely touch.

"Loved the Taybank, will be back"

The location is excellent and the styling of the property was clean, modern and cosy.

Small car park but we managed to get a space eventually. Otherwise perfect.

"Great apartment, great location, loved our stay"

Great apartment with everything you need - loved the breakfast hamper.

It was a cold when we arrived and it took a while to warm the apartment

"Ok but really not worth the money, disappointing"

Location and restaurant

Broken shower, broken light switches, less than sparkling bed linen

"A great location with friendly staff but limited facilities."

7.0

Beautiful location. Dog friendly. Friendliness of staff. Evening meal was excellent. Plenty of walks directly from hotel.

Some signage at the entrance would help when checking in. The delivered breakfast is a novel idea but choice is very limited. You can eat in your room or use a table in the dining room but there is no tea or coffee facility other than your room. No table in the room to eat breakfast at. No TV in the room. Returned from an evening out at 11.10pm. Bar was closed and staff were cleaning up and stacking chairs around us.

"Very good"

8.0

Rooms and interior throughout the hotel were lovely and had a warm personal feel to them

Only thing we could say was the bar closing time. We were advised the bar would shut at 12 however at 11pm we were then told the bar was shut so unfortunately had to go back to our rooms as there were no bars or anything near by.

"A Comfortable Riverside Inn"

8.0

We could only spend one night at The Tayvbank Inn, but we enjoyed our time there. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was large and well appointed. The dinner menu was diverse and the food was delicious. The servers were friendly and pleasant. Kyra and Tennessee both made us feel like welcomed dinner guests. The breakfast basket is an inspired idea allowing you to dine either in your room, in the dining area, or the garden. While not a hot breakfast, the food was plentiful, delicious, and well presented. One slight drawback was that there was no-one at the front desk when we arrived. We looked around, saw several people and eventually found the right person to check us in. On our next trip to Dunkeld we would definitely stay at The Taybank Inn.

"Beautiful location, highly suggest the sauna"

10.0

Super romantic getaway, they think of everything. The room was fantastic, the bed so cosy and comfortable. The bed came with fluffy sheepskin blankets and hot watrbottles. The shower was amazing. The room decor was beautiful and the coffee in the room was amazing. The restaurant was expensive, but nicely done food. The sauna was the highlight of our trip though, with views over the tay.

I unfortunately had a canister of milk in my room for coffee in the morning, and when I opened it it was very very sour and off. It was a really upsetting moment, it was at least 2 weeks out of date.
