Hotel Terme Providence

Well firstly if you are English I would think very hard before you visit. My first encounter with the older lady with glasses was terrible,I asked why there was no water available to refill my water bottle and why water was not free as in other hotels(2.50 euro for a small bottle) she looked at me and asked me to speak in German as she apparently did not understand English. Well that summed up our visit, English is not understood apparently with any staff,they should update that fact and say that only German and Italian are welcome. The room was Horrible dated and dirty,The shower door was broken for the duration of our stay. The bed was uncomfortable and we got bitten by bugs,no Loo rolls left on occasion and also no shower gel or soap. The food in the restaurant was at best poor and the potatoes from the garden of the senses as described on the menu were served every evening. The inflexible dining option was like eating in a care home and it was a bit like Faulty Towers. Breakfast cold scrambled eggs and vile cold bacon.No hot food was available at breakfast at all if you are not keen on a continental buffet then hard luck. Bar service was slow and some of the female staff had a definite attitude problem and were borderline rude. The pool however was ok although it would be classed as dangerous in many places as there are unmarked steps that separate the deep end from the shallow part. Plenty of sunbeds on offer though, Would not return if you paid me.

The sea views, outdoor terraces, and pools were stunning and relaxing. Staff members Kyra (front desk), Michele (dining room), and owner Gianpaolo were exceptionally helpful. The updated room featured beautiful hand-painted tiles, though lacked practical amenities like a shower shelf and towel hooks. The hotel catered mostly to German guests, with menus in German, and the food lacked authentic Italian flavor, which was disappointing for a stay in Italy.

Hotel was spotless and great views. Staff were incredible, helpful, friendly. Already talking about going back next year. Pool was great and thermal pool good for the skin.

Food in restaurant was good but preferred to walk a little or head to Forio for something different. Hard to find faults we really loved it.

Excellent hotel. Beautiful rooms. Great location. Staff (John Paul) a bundle of fun 🤩 amazing. Food lovely. service excellent. Location perfect and ideal for short walks into town. Thermal spa a treat every morning. Vineyard visit exceptional! Wine delicious 😋 overall a great holiday for a couple ❤️❤️ who wants to enjoy a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. Incredible hotel. Wonderful staff, food is exquisite; service is tremendous. Very clean hotel, fabulous pools, spa and the views are quite stunning. Loved everything about it. Definitely an elderly clientele, but this makes it quiet and suits our holiday needs.

The location is perfect! The pools are great! The breakfast is amazing! The local wine is very good and worth trying. And homemade jam👍 The girl at the reception was an outstanding professional ( multilingual, knowledgeable and extremely helpful ❤️). And the host ( Maria) provides the guests with very useful advice, which really helps make the stay comfortable and feel cosy.

The bar is definitely overpriced except the local wine. No additional towels for the pool, no bathrobe, no slippers( in the 4-star hotel( Actually, they are given for additional fees in the spa , which we got to know by chance(

Lovely hotel in extraordinary great setting. Although we were not booked in a sea view room as requested, our room was small but comfortable. The staff was extraordinary, helpful and friendly. Dinners were restaurant quality The matre di was professional and well organized. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The gentleman that ran the snack / concession area was friendly and conversant. Although the shuttle driver was very limited in the runs into Forio, he was willing to do whatever was necessary to be certain the guests were taken care of . A bit far to walk into Forio arrangements can be made Beautiful views, quiet and authentically nice people. Looking forward to a return to Providence.Forio itself was a nice town to stroll through. A lovely welcome from staff and in particular the reception staff were extremely helpful with all our enquiries. Our stay was 4 nights and we used it as a base to visit different places in the area. The bus shuttle service into Forio was welcome and we were happy to do the 20 minute walk back after supper out in Forio. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the sea views from both our room and the main hotel areas.

Amazing hotel with beautiful garden, thermal and freshwater pools. Very clean. Staff is very attentive. Breakfast was good. There is an option to have lunch or dinner, by reservation and which I would highly recommend- appetizers, main course and desert was delicious!

The music in the lounging area was a bit too loud. But as soon as we let the management know, the music was turned down.
