GBAbsolutely nothing
It was smelly and dirty, not looked after or maintained. This is listed as a 4 star hotel but it’s disgusting. No air conditioning, stained carpets & walls, dirty worn out furniture, rubbish outside bedroom window, overgrown with weeds outside, window locks broken, lights hanging off the wall. We checked in and 20 minutes later checked out and requested a full refund. This place is not as advertised! Would not recommend at all .

This hotel has seen the best times probably 20 years ago. It is tired, run down. No maintenance, dirty. No idea when they vacuum cleaned the corridors. The staff was indifferent to rude. A tone that was shocking in a so called 4 star hotel. Wish I would have taken photos of the broken door handles of the outdoor door (safety issue) or the 2 star bathrooms… not worth any money!
GBThe food was excellent at the hotel, especially the beef bourginon. Great choice at breakfast too. The check in with the evening duty manager was smooth and he got us a reservation for dinner sorted very promptly also the gentleman at breakfast was so welcoming and kept refering to my 3 month old daughter, even offering ideas for trips during our stay! Overall my interactions with all staff was a ppsitive one they were ALL so lovely and helpful. Rooms were of a good size and were nice and clean. The spa facilities were excellent!
In general though the hotel is in need of a little TLC. Our room looked onto an area which had numerous weeds growing and a trolley/ cart that looked like it had been there for years. Some carpets looked like they were heavily stained and some corridors looked quite dated. The carpet in our room for example had a pink stain (possibly nail varnish right in the middle of it) Also the mattresses did a job but certainly not the comfiest ive slept on.
