The Crown Hotel

Central location for exploring Peebles, every thing within walking distance.

Room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was in the High Street so easy access to shops etc. It had a good restuarant with good value meals and efficient service.

Storage for my bike was in an unlocked alley with nothing immovable to lock it too.

Really lovely staff, great dinner and breakfast, good value for money and nice comfortable rooms. Bit creaky but to be expected with an old building with character. Would recommend

Creaky floorboards

This is the second time that I have stayed at this property and would continue to stay here on future visits. The room is lovely and has everything that we required for our stay. All the staff are very accommodating and very friendly. Atmosphere in the bar area is excellent with some good banter. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast is lovely, with an conservatory at the back of the restaurant. The food for breakfast and for dinner was excellent with a wide variety and loads of specials for dinner. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to visit the Peebles area

We stayed on the top floor, which I requested, and it has some steep stairs. This was not an issue for me but my wife does struggle a bit with this. We were aware of this beforehand and this would not stop us requesting this room again, but just to make others aware if you stay on this floor.

Dinner was excellent, didn’t manage to make breakfast 🤣
