Although slightly tired looking it was exactly what we expected for a Toby experience. Lisa went above and beyond to make our stay homely and comfortable.

Not being fully assured by another member of staff that our car would be secure in the open car park overnight. We were informed that there was CCTV in operation. The other downsides were: only standard hash browns available and, more disappointingly, no Roast Lamb left at 18.30!

Easy to access and find

Given accessible room but didn’t ask, wet room inconvenient for a couple (wet floor for 2nd person showering). Room next to entrance door banging every time someone came in, everyone passing our room going through internal doors and noise from this. No privacy due to ground floor and next to main entrance door to accommodation. EXCEEDINGLY disappointed at evening meal, every vegetable cold and dried out. My complaint handled badly by staff - had food tested with ‘probe’, showed me photo at 66deg (I checked online, min is 63). My complaint was instantly dismissed and not a thing done to address my cold food (I’d ordered the menu’s Salmon wellington which was delicious, but therefore had no vegetables with it).
