"It was ok but definitely not a 4 star hotel feel ripped off"

The hotel was ok but seemed disorganised at times

Not totally clean especially our room for 4 star it was nearer 2 star. Bits missing in flooring. when went into hot top some wood worn away and one of the handles came off when tried to put lid back on as worn.

"Beautiful getaway, close to the beach"

The room was lovely, cosy and comfortable. Loved the fire pit, next time would like to book a garden room with hot tub

The outside light didn’t work. I also think a bit of a covering would have been nice by the fire pit as it was raining so we couldn’t fully enjoy it.

"Lovely stay in a beautiful building"

Location. Beautiful building and garden. Good welcome pack of drinks and biscuits. Lovely room. Nice toiletries. Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Lovely bathroom.

Parts of the decor looked tired and the curtains in the room were ripped and hanging off the curtain rail. The sash window didn't stay open.

"Great one night get away on the way upto Scotland - really memorable venue!"

Friendly welcome, unique and interesting decor, quality rooms and bathrooms, deep roll top bath, breakfast was perfect

A bit warm at night so needed to crack the window open using a towel in the gap to keep it open.
