Towels and bed linen were clean

Put in a room without a seaview and with a standard double bed after paying for a large double bed and a seaview. I believe the lack of a large double bed was due to a wrong description on booking com. No bedside lights, so you had to get out of bed to turn off the main lights. The building was looking very tired on the inside and the outside. Bathroom not particularly clean

Great room, great location for Bideford and Westward Ho.

The TV didn't have great reception, but not a massive problem

We had a great stay here on a coast to coast cycle ride. The staff were very accommodating and cheerful. The breakfast was great. The rooms might not be to your taste if you are expecting a contemporary style but I liked their vintage charm. They were also very spacious.

Three Friends and myself stayed at the Durrant House as part of an organised Devon C2C holiday. We stayed one night and had the breakfast in the morning. The rooms were great, I especially liked the bath, which was great after a days cycling. The bed was lovely and I had a great nights sleep. The staff were all friendly and very helpful, there is not much else to say other than all four of us enjoyed our stay.
