Where do I start with what I didn’t like?!? Firstly we never saw a single sole in the time we were there. I booked a family room with a double and 2 singles and only got a double and single (single mum with a 19 year old girl and a 14 year old boy! Me and my son had to share) The room was small and so no other bed could be added so we thought we’d cope. The plug sockets were in hard to reach places and the lamp was behind the back of the double. When we went to the bathroom we noticed the toilet was leaking and there was the smell of damp throughout. 2 toilet rolls for 3 adults for a weekend was not enough. As for the decor it looked damp and there was paper hanging off the roof. It also had different shades to the walls and ceilings.

The owner and staff were absolutely amazing 👏 went above and beyond , the breakfast was absolutely beautiful tasted amazing , beds were comfy room was lovely and clean kids were very happy 😊 will definitely recommend this hotel and we will be visiting again thank you.

Great location for the beach, shops etc

The hotel is very outdated. The beds were rock hard. Could feel the springs coming through. Hard the worst back pain the whole time we was there from the beds. There is holes everywhere in the room. Even the floorboards under the carpet. There was a hole underneath the floorboards. Wind howling through the holes through the floor & ceiling. The hotel smelt of cannabis. We were offered a change of bedding once the hole time we were there. That was only because the staff had to drill a hole because we had no cold water at one point & neither did the people beneath us. There was no staff around. On check out we had to leave our keys on the side because there was no staff to give them too. I won't be staying again!!

Location very close to the front The man who lives there & says he is doing it up very friendly. Shower nice & hot, was powerful too Freeview on tv available Dinning room looked nice but can’t use as food not available. Pool table nice option to use, would be good moved into the bar with a dart board & use other room as relaxing sun room, with books & board games or soft play for small kids.

Door locked & no one there to let you in, needs a reception that is maned No breakfast available Parking area not very clean & unkept, not secure Front need upgrading as looked run down & dirty, thought it was closed down on arrival. Carpets & decor needs cleaning & updating around hotel. Room door needs replacing as are beat up & lock not good. Bedrooms ok size but need all new mattress as very uncomfortable & need upgraded bedding. Bathroom not clean, flooring coming up & in room carpet dirty.

The Staff were top , nothing too much , friendly.

If I'm honest , it could do with redecorating , which I believe will be done at some point.

We are family of 4 stayed in family room - very small however it’s been enough for us just sleep in. Location - access to everything in walking distance. Beach just few hundred meters away. Tram to travel a bit further down. It’s been a good stay. Cheap and just have a sleep in and out the rest of the day.

Mattresses not comfortable however didn’t spoiled our stay. Family room it’s just beds, not much space to move around. Bathroom floors and itself need to be cleaned and majority need some TLC.
