Mellory hotel

Great spacious rooms. Beds are comfy enough. Stadf are friendly

Looks a little run down and needs a thorough clean.

State of disrepair, not fit to live in!

Absolutely nothing! It was only 10 mins walk from main areas, but that’s it! Everything else was shocking!

Broken TV, broken kettle, no towels, no toilet roll, no Wi-Fi as stated, no parking space as also stated, fridge froze everything, window latch didn't shut, stunk of cigarette smoke, barely any water came out of taps, door hinge was broken so door didn’t shut properly you had to lift it to shut and lock it. Cannot believe booking.com advertise the Mellory Hotel. The £85 I paid was a joke and I do believe I should be entitled to some sort of refund. We didn’t even get undressed and slept fully clothed in coats on top of bed! Thank god we were only there one night. The place should be shut down!

The price of my stay represented very good value for money, The location of the hotel was very good as well, it was very close to Coral Island, and therefore close to Blackpool town centre, and the other main attractions as well. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was on the top floor, and had an excellent view of Blackpool tower as well. There was also a wash hand basin, and a kitchen worktop in the room as well. The room also had a wardrobe, TV, microwave, and fridge as well, so it was fairly well set up. The person checking me into the hotel, also provided me with a very good heater as well for the room, and already had it switched on for me checking in, so the room was very warm when I arrived. The hotel itself was very quiet during my stay, but I was there during the off-peak season, so it might not be like that all the time though.

The room itself, and also some parts of the hotel could be doing with some refurbishment, but overall the facilities were reasonable for the price paid for the room.

Everything pictures was nothing like it was like they was no light in toilet door didn’t lock to the door the front door wasn’t secure didn’t sleep at all it was that bad was like the council uses the property for the people that r homeless and was full of druggies
