The Koi Fish pond was a beautiful feature of the hotel and the staff were so friendly and polite. I thought the honesty bar was a neat addition too.

My 3rd stay at this hotel, its like being invited to stay with a friend. They are so incredibly welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The food really is unbeatable. The breakfast is the best I've had in a while. If you stay for dinner, be prepared to be blown away. I'm looking forward to the next time I need to stay in the area.

Breakfast and the honesty bar in the lounge was fantastic. The pillows and bed were comfortable but the duvet was not warm enough. Ideal for when the weather becomes warmer.

The next door guest. The walls are very thin. There was nobody to call via phone on the evening to report the loud television and opening the outside door to allow a female guest into his room. We had a very important family event the next day and did not get hardly any sleep. We were made aware that there was a button to press at the end of the hall way, which is not as convenient as reporting to someone on reception.
