Good and hearty choice for breakfast............didn't like the haddock though....preferred to have kippers on offer Excellent location

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was a nice relaxed feel about the hotel, and it was good to have areas to sit downstairs.

We didn't like the early checkout, especially as the boat didn't said until 4.30. Also the hotel was hosting a private group after our stay which meant we didn't feel welcome to use the hotel on that last day.

Our First room was above the commercial kitchen with the Industrial Extraction System attached to our bathroom wall. The noise level was disturbing for me - the smells within the Bathroom emanating from the extraction system from kitchen below was very unpleasant and disappointing. We were given the only other Sea -view room available the following day - the room was right next door to the first room. The kitchen Extractor/ industrial fridge was still a problem with noise but a little more bearable considering there were no other options given.

Beautiful hotel with lovely views and a perfect terrace overlooking the sea. The food was wonderful and the lounge really welcoming and comfortable.

I would have preferred more choice on breakfast for example omelette or scrambled egg on toast But overall still good cooked food

Every thing regarding the hotel was exceptionally helpful and great 👍 including baggage collected and delivered to room. Also on departure taken and loaded to the ferry

Rooms were a bit small but we did not spend much time in them

A very well managed and located manor-type hotel, with comfortable rooms, a pleasant lounge and conservatory,a most inviting terrace and bar, and excellent breakfast and a tasty « bistronomical » restaurant, with a pleasant wine menu. A smart luggage management system, insures your bags have a straight between your room and your boat or air travel.

The breakfast management timing was a bit stiff: you need to let them know on the evening beforehand of your breakfast time… kills the morning initiative… and sadly, after having missed the full regalia breakfast, no « light » initiative (tea or coffee, a pastry, a joghurt - nothing fancy) was offered and we felt left to « rot ». Also, spontaneously approaching the restaurant at 8:20 PM for a table for two… we were told that the kitchen was closed; we found solace a couple of yards further down towards the village, yet we’re saddened- considering the quality of the cuisine - that no « last minute » option was available.
