We were made to feel welcome from the second we arrived. Rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was perfect and staff were super friendly and accomodating with the people in our party who had dietary requirements. Will definitely stay again!

The breakfast was acceptable, particularly as I didnt have time for a full English, but this might be a nice addition to the breakfast menu. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and I would certainly stay there again

Location

Unfortunately, the hotel is falling apart and needs investment. Our room (9) facing the street didn’t have secondary glazing to reduce the noise pollution from passing vehicles, the bedding wasn’t up to standard par due to duvet cover having holes in it and noticeable stains, the curtains need to be fitted a little better to prevent the outside signage light leaking into the bedroom, the carpet needs a deep clean to remove stains, the hot-water in the bathroom needs to run at least 5 minutes for hot-water to arrive, the extractor fan didn’t work and the wash hand basin was blocked. The room has a fire door and a nice gap underneath.

Everywhere was clean, beds were comfortable and the staff were always helpful

The public areas and our room itself were poor in terms of cleanliness. The stairs had plaster dust and dirt and obviously hadn’t been cleaned. The remote control in the bedroom was dirty as was the bathroom
