Convenient and very welcoming.

Front of toilet and sink basin around the bottom edges had not been cleaned sufficiently. Bed had severe dip which made it feel tired and worn. Silver towel rail was broken in the bathroom which severely limited hanging space for toiletries bag etc. Milk for morning cereal was warm.

The staff were extremely accommodating and were extremely considerate when something happened where we couldn't arrive before final check in time. They made sure they did all that they could to help make it easier for us! Would absolutely recommend them to anyone staying in the area!

Very clean and well decorated. Very comfortable bed.

Curtains didn't stop light from outside, and, unfortunately, there was a floodlight on the front of the building, right between our windows. Very noisy fire door which people allowed to slam, so bangs early morning and late at night. Hot water took ages to come through, possibly due to distance from heat source. Shower was over bath, which did not have a non slip surface, and there was no mat. However, one was supplied for the next day, after our request.

Room TV was old and had awful picture Shower didn’t give hot water (sink did) Girl in the bar didn’t know how to open a bottle of wine Asked if I could charge a drink to my room to which she replied no because a manager has to sign it???

Ive stayed here before always a nice reception and great food.

The weather was very hot during my stay, I know the hotel doesnt have air con but a fan in the room would have been a bonus. The shower takes ages to warm up, been like this for a while!!

The Continental breakfast was fine

As it was a very hot night we opened the window to let some air in and were disturbed by the noise of the traffic

Breakfast was pleasant but choice of hot breakfast would have been nice. Gentleman that looked after us on reception and at breakfast was fantastic.

Noisy outside. No noise reduction from windows, light outside window on all night, no hot water so we couldn't have a shower, noise from room above constantly through the night.

Included but just coffee, croissant or bread, juice
