"Superb"

Eating our meals on our terrace Beautiful quiet beach Excellent Sri Lankan curries, with the chefs coming to our table to check if they were ok.

Fellow guests who think it is acceptable to let their children scream non stop in the pool.

"Good but not great"

Excellent beach location. Staff were polite and friendly. Nice food in the restaurant.

Room and furniture had to have renovation years ago. Room wasn’t clean. Internet was very slow.

perfect villa where you feel at home. super friendly and attentive staff, superb location, very calm and secluded. you literally feel like it's your own private villa :) just note - there's no 'classic' bar, you just ask what you want and staff will prepare :) more or less same is with food :) really personal approach!

wifi is quite weak (in case you need constant good connection consider having unlimited SIM activated instead)

"Wow wow wow! Paradise on earth!"

We chose this hotel because of the amount of the good reviews! What can I say? It was like paradise on earth! The rooms were a dream and the hotel only has like 6 rooms so it is really peaceful. It is a old colonial villa and they kept this style with the decor, towels and so on. The chef was skilled and he took care of my food allergies and made the best Sri Lankan dishes! Especially the egg hoppers with curry in the morning were such a great and lovely start into the day. The staff was also so attentive and professional! We felt great all the time. The staff was always there to bring cocktails and great snacks. All in all we were so happy with everything and we will recommend the hotel to our friends and would always come back. We started our Sri Lankan holiday there and wouldn’t do it any other way since it was absolutely peaceful!

The AC was a bit loud but we cooled the room to the max during the day so we could turn it off at night.
