Very friendly and helpful staff

Pillows were too soft. Only complaint

Food was absolutely terrible. Had the sausage and mash with what I can only describe as dishwater for gravy. The mash was tasteless without seasoning, the gravy was water with what I can only describe as a squirt of ketchup in it. Even though I complained there was no discount offered. I paid in full but won’t be eating there again.

A very quiet, comfortable and clean room, well stocked with refreshments.

You have to run the taps for quite a while to get warm water. I understand it's an old building, but for me it's quite a waste.

It was everything I would expect from a good pub stop over. Thanks to Mia and Jo for giving us a lovely clean room. The food was very good pub style food and plenty of it, ( more than we could eat.) the service was wonderful, ( sorry we didn’t get your name but a tall young lady looked after us and she was attentive and kind.) They breakfast was exceptional and because we didn’t want the cooked breakfast we were offered a takeaway sandwich by the guy, really kind, but we declined as we were full! The price for all this in a large room, DBB, £140, exceptional! Thanks again.

Location was good right in town, check in staff nice and helpful. parking on site for free

Room decor tired with marks on the walls, and door looked damaged. Bed was very soft and uncomfortable, also had to drink elsewhere as they had run out of Guiness
