Papagayo Golden Palms Beachfront Hotel

Great localization at the beach.

Room wasn't tight, constant invasions of spiders, gecons even big cockroaches. AC couldn't manage to keep the room dry due to all holes in windows and balcony

They were cleaning and giving maintenance so it was a bit noisy for a weekend But indeed it is great they care for the place

This is a gem of a hotel. The location is fantastic, right in front of a beach that is almost private to the hotel, and within a few minutes of Playa Hermosa and Playas del Coco. The property is adorned by beautiful, well-kept gardens and trees, where monkeys and birds can be seen and heard, and is marked by a large and beautiful pool. The rooms are spacious, luxurious suites, with a great bed and large, elegant bathroom and shower. The breakfast was great. And, most important of all, the staff members were always extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, this hotel is a majestic, quiet and peaceful place, a wonderful haven for a restful vacation.

Staff extremely friendly, quiet and beautiful property - though the beach is not good and the pool needs to be cleaned at least twice a day. Rooms are exactly as pictured.

Pool needed to be cleaned more often, beach is not great, and restaurant food while decent isn't very varied.

Beautiful grounds - lush greenery and an abundance of flowers. Not many people. Pool and beach basically to ourselves. It was fun to watch the monkeys and other animals in the morning,

It was not clean. The first night our room was infested with bugs - no one was responding in the office and we went to the front desk but no one was there. We did what we could to get rid of the bugs on our own. We changed rooms the next day. It wasn't much cleaner, but at least no bugs. The furnishings were old and falling apart. The food was not good at all.

This property was better than expected. We thought it was more of a bungalow vibe but it was much more upscale. The staff, restaurant, accessibility to the calm beach, the lovely pool all added to a delightful beginning to our Costa Rican adventure.

The hotel is located in a very beautiful garden, ideal for those who love a secluded holiday.

Property is really beautiful. Clean, friendly staff good location to move around the area but far enough from downtown, so having a car is a must. Roads are in perfect condition. Breakfast is just ok. It's is a family friendly environment, recommended.

Very secluded and peaceful. The grounds, beach and pool are well maintained daily. Wildlife is everywhere. Pretty cool! The food was excellent.
