Hygge Siargao

Quite/calm location. Only 3 other accommodations. The place is very spacious. The pool was in the shade which was nice after a full day in the sun. There isn't a lot of staff, but Tess was very available via Whatsapp, helped with all our requests and she was very caring. My earring fell in between the panels of the floor (be careful the cracks are quite big), but Tess contacted a worked and I was able to get my earring back!

The place is quite hard to find at first. I think it's not as nice as the pictures. There are many ants, and we had a cockroach in the bathroom and a huge beetle our first night. No body wash or shampoo is provided. Room cleaning is only once every 3 days. There are huge windows and no curtains, so you will be waken up by the natural light at 7am, and if you're on the ground floor you have no privacy.

Location, overall experience was really good. We spent majority of the time chilling outside - the private terrace is definitely a value added. Staff was extremely helpful :) the lush green at the place was magnificent.

The smell in the bathroom was overwhelming. There was no shampoo and shower gel despite the info of its availability. We understand that the owners are no longer providing it due to previous experiences with other guests but please update this info on the booking website.

The property was clean and beautiful, Tess the caretaker was just a phone call away and always ready to help. The open plan for the living room and dining is just fabulous. Had an amazing time there.

We were a group of 7 people who stayed and the house had only 1 bathroom. So that was a bit inconvenient but still worth it!

Super cozy, perfect location.

We did lose the power a few times, but think this was everywhere on the island.
