Breakfast was lovely, we loved the location, nice and quiet but within easy reach of pubs and shops in hawkshead

Only thing wrong was no evening meal, but there’s plenty of restaurants around, can highly recommend Billy’s just a 6 minute drive.

The location could not have been more perfect. I love what the owner has done to the place since he has owned it.

Location was amazing and the property itself was stunning, really nice place to visit and nice and central to Hawkshead and conniston

Bathroom light blew twice so we didn't have any lights in the bathroom and no window for natural light, the bed was rock hard, I've ever slept on such a hard mattress, also the duvet was really heavy, it's still warm outside! The hotel needs more staff to make 1 person run everything is ridiculous, the poor guy hardly had time to pour a drink in the bar due to checking people in and arranging the food and fixing issues, I'm sure there's plenty of admin to do aswell, need minimum of 2 people working
