Location was superb! Excellent information provided beforehand.

it is situated in a very quiet area right next to Hill Top Farm which was main reason for visit .Sean was very friendly and helpful .breakfast was lovely and set you up for the day .Hotel is set in lovely grounds .sat outside on the evening drinking wine and it's as if the world stood still .so peaceful except for the odd bird.bed was really comfortable and facilities were perfect .views from the hotel were brilliant

nothing unless they have any pull with the council about getting roads widened .lanes a bit scary to drive down 🤣

It's just in the perfect location, so quiet and peaceful, and the scenery is stunning! Perfect place to wind down and forget about everyday life! Love the hotel itself too, it's a grand building and the original features give it that unique look and feel, very impressive indeed!

It was clearly understaffed which was a real shame, no evening meals served, and the bar closed at 7.30pm. When we first came in May 2022, the restaurant was open and they served amazing food, and the bar was open late too. We did wish that wasn't the case as we would have loved to have stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the evening meals and drinks at the bar rather than having to make alternative arrangements elsewhere as we really wanted to enjoy the peacefulness of the place and take full advantage of it, sadly because of the staffing situation this wasn't really possible.

The staff were friendly and helpful Great views and nice garden Quiet and fairly remote which is what we wanted

Needs to have evening restaurant May not suit customers who don't drive .

The views and hotel were amazing, staff were so welcoming and friendly and everything overall was amazing.

I guess the food could have been a little better but it wasn't terrible. Maybe if there were more options.
