University Club of San Francisco

When we arrived there was a posted announcement that a wedding was taking place the night we were staying with you. So we were prepared for some noise but that which went on was a bit excessive.

Super convenient! Charming old “Club” (not a hotel) with great history. Great staff. Community rooms were beautiful.

It is old and a bit worn down. The elevator stopped working a couple of times.

Not much…it was a decent price and they do have a half decent gym you get access to.

Smelled in the hallways. It was $45 for a roll away bed that I didn’t want since we had a couch but they had it in the room anyway regardless of the fact I didn’t select it when I booked it. The noise outside (at least being on the 2nd floor) was brutal. No AC from what I could find and if you leave the windows open the noise is horrible so don’t expect to sleep. No fan in the room; just a space heater. Parking situation also was terrible.

Location & price

My room’s fan didn’t work so it was quite warm at night. Also, my room was under the kitchen, which was very loud (as if someone was dragging furniture across the floor) all night. Made it very difficult to sleep after a very long day of travel. I would not choose that hotel again.
