Hotel Madin

“When it comes to breakfast, it was good enough with everything — the buffet spread, quantity, and quality were all satisfying. The rooms were very clean, though not entirely neat. Overall, it was a very nice experience.” The food quantity and quality were the best I have experienced so far in any hotel. The portion size is excellent — food for 2 people can easily serve 4. For both quality and quantity, I would rate it 10/10. Special Mention: I would like to specially mention two restaurant staff members. The first one (unfortunately I don’t know his name) was very soft-spoken and extremely humble. He supported us throughout our time in the restaurant and made sure we were comfortable. The second staff member, Ms. Anjani Singh (if I remember her name correctly), was also very kind and courteous, and we were quite impressed with her hospitality. I must say, both of them are true assets to the hotel.

Two things which I personally did not like: Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi facility and password were provided by the reception, but it did not work at all. We tried to connect multiple times but were disappointed. I even discussed this issue with the team, but no satisfactory solution was provided. Eventually, we had to let it go and use our own mobile network instead. Restaurant Waiting Time: The waiting time after placing a food order was unreasonably long, which is quite unbearable. If someone orders food at the restaurant, it should be served within a reasonable timeframe. Alternatively, the staff should inform the guest in advance if the preparation will take 40–45 minutes, so the guest can prepare accordingly.

Only concern was that all rooms dont have king size bed some have queen bed . We had booked two rooms one had big bed one was small which is a problem

Siamo arrivati a Varanasi da Agra con il treno delle 6 di mattina e il personale del Madin è stato gentilissimo a darci una stanza con check in anticipato già alle 7:30. La stanza pulitissima con il miglior bagno di tutto il nostro soggiorno in India. La colazione, non inclusa e abbastanza cara (circa 11 euro), è comunque molto buona. Abbiamo sfruttato anche la piscina sul rooftop.

La struttura è a mezz’ora dal centro di varanasi, quindi non comodissima, anche se lo sapevamo ovviamente da subito, ma avendo un volo di ritorno molto presto era la soluzione migliore perché il centro della città non può essere raggiunto dai taxi e dal centro all’aeroporto ci si mettono circa 40/50 min. Si perde un po’ la magia di Varanasi.
