Posada Coatepec

The Hotel is beautiful.

The room smelled musty and there was a dead cockroach in the bathroom, and a dead lizard in the upstairs loft. The bedding is very old, like from the 1970s, it really needs an update, the bathroom was dirty and in need of a major update. The glass shower doors had very bad limescale and the sink was very old and rotting. Also, when we arrived, they said the parking was closed so we had to park on the street, which I worried about. The couches were very dusty, in need of a good cleaning. The ceilings also were dusty and needed a good clean. The restaurant staff were great, and the food was good.

It was a wonderful experience. Tranquil, great daytime staff. The room was perfect for me with great shower, comfortable bed, stable internet and just what I needed for a quick one night get away.

Excellent ubication

Everything! Our room was lovely. Bed was large with comfortable bedding. Breakfast served on a tray to our room. Hidden backyard where our dogs could exercise explore and you know. Pool looked nice but it was rainy & chilly. Our host was knowledgeable friendly and kind. We want to go back again. Plus got to park our car safely away.

Nothing i would change.
