Breakfast was excellent with freshly prepared diversified local food.

Bathroom has limited space but it looked remodeled and was very clean. It took a little while for the hot water to come out of shower.

Lift was not working

Clean, neat, lovely staff, has western facilities but a nice Peruvian style. Staff went over the top to be helpful, you are able to drop off your laundry in the morning and charge a very reasonable rate of eight soles per kg and get it back in the evening, letting you do more exploring and less work seeking out your own laundry. Staff very knowledgeable about the local events. The breakfast is great and even as a big guy over 100 KG’s I struggled to eat it all. I spent four nights here and after doing the Inca trail I rebooked for another two nights before heading back home as I was so happy with my stay.

Nothing!!! It is about 10 minutes from the main square which I saw as an advantage as during festivals or big public occasions that main square is very noisy well into the evening. If you were mobility impaired you probably would try to stay closer but to be honest if you are mobility impaired you are probably not in Cusco. There is a lift from the ground floor to the first floor and everything is level access.

Das Hotel ist sehr neu und liebevoll ausgestattet. Das Zimmer war sehr freundlich und hell. Extraklasse war das Frühstück: Hier wurde alles zubereitet, das gewünscht wurde. Die heiße Dusche funktionierte wunderbar und war sehr willkommen.

In der Nacht war es sehr kalt in Cusco (Höhenlage + Jahreszeit) und auch ein wenig im Zimmer. Zum Glück gab es die heiße Dusche!

No windows to the outside - only to the interior of the hotel. And if you uncover the curtain for some natural light, you’re awkwardly exposed to your neighbors.

The hotel was so clean and the staff were so friendly. The shower pressure was so strong!Breakfast was home-style and delicious. On last day, we had to leave at 6:00 am, and the hotel prepared bento boxes for us. Much appreciated!! I strongly recommend you to stay in the hotel!!

The location is good, close to Plaza de Armas. The staff were absolutely amazing and helped us with everything we needed. We had several early tours starting at 4 AM, and they kindly prepared a packed breakfast for us every single morning. It was also very convenient to be able to do our laundry there. To top it all off, they gave us a cute alpaca keychain as a farewell gift. Highly recommended!

A hospedagem no Casa Matara foi muito boa, quarto confortável, equipe bem solícita. Café da manhã preparado na hora para os hóspedes. O dia que fomos para um passeio às 4h da manhã nos forneceram um kit café da manhã para viagem - achei muito cuidadoso da parte deles! Wifi bom. É proximo à praça principal e outros pontos turísticos em Cusco! Recomendo
