The hotel is amazing, with super friendly and helpful staff. The room was huge and super super clean, and the bed was amazing. The breakfast was great and they also would prepare us a to-go when we had tours. They served tea all the time, which was great. The elevator was a big plus.

Staff were lovely and helpful. Location is great. Rooms are great and spacious. Quiet inside. Coca tea available at all times.

I’d also want some cold drinking water available to aid altitude sickness.

This was a lovely little spot with the absolute friendliest hosts! Breakfast was provided in the morning, and they were really thoughtful about making sure our needs were met - and they really paid attention to individual schedules! They would oftentimes check in via text in the morning to see if we had tours booked, so they would know to have breakfast ready for us. They held onto our bags while we journeyed to Machu Picchu - when we got back (late!) they had already moved our bags back up into our rooms. And, comfy beds! Easy to walk to the main attractions, and close by to some good restaurants - it is a bit tucked away off the main drags, which was good for us as well.

"Perfect solo trip"

Breakfast was delicious and healthy. I had an early excursion and they packed me a lunch to go and it was a life saver . They also just got an elevator!

In the bathroom, the window was open to let the steam out but I could hear everything my neighbor was doing . I was too tired to care but i heard them showering .

Great location and the staff were so helpful and friendly, especially the manageress who greeted us on our first stay at Casa Matara. The facility is very clean and feels like home. The breakfast and service was fantastic and we truly felt like they cared about the quality of our visit. They even gave us a parting gift which was so special and one of my favorite tokens of our stay is Cusco.
