Villa Lu Amazon Ecolodge

El mejor hospedaje en Tarapoto, quedamos encantados!! El servicio del personal es EXCELENTE. La ubicación es perfecta porque estás a 5-10 min del centro, pero en la naturaleza, puedes oír los pájaros desde la habitación, la comida muy rica, el hotel lo tienen super bien cuidado. El wifi es muy bueno, incluso pude hacer videollamadas de trabajo sin problemas. Se me olvidó una polera al irme, y me la enviaron a mi casa de inmediato. Voy a recomendar este hotel a todo el que me pregunte!!!

Nice place to stay in Tarapoto, close enough to the city, but still immersed in nature. The rooms are nice, the breakfast was good, and free airport pick up and a room upgrade (since the Lodge was half full) with Genius benefits was a nice goodie.

On the first day they just decided that it is not worth giving a breakfast buffet for the guests, since we were too few, but never mentioned it to us. So we got 1 fried egg and some fruits and 2 pieces of bread for breakfast. For the price of this lodge, I would definitely expect certain services to be included, for example water bottle refill in the room's fridge. Never did they tell us that the water bottles in the room were to be paid for (nor when we asked about if they could replace the bottles of water, since we mentioned that they forgot to replace them as part of housekeeping). They definitely lack the minimum communication with guests, and we speak Spanish fluently, so it's not about the language, it's lack of customer service generally speaking.

Hotel super tranquilo ,lejos de la bulla de la ciudad , lleno de vegetación, todo bien cuidado y linda decoración y distribución. La amabilidad y la atención del personal excelente, las habitaciones sencillas pero lindas, limpias y con lo necesario.

1.No hay variedad de comida, y lo que esta en carta no siempre lo tienen disponible . 2.La piscina como esta en el medio de la vegetación siempre esta con plantas secas , lo entiendo, pero creo que deberían de limpiar cada cierta hora para que no se acumule tanta hoja seca . 3.No hay canales de Tv , no me molestó pero me hubiera gustado tenerlos. 4.Por lo demás todo super bien, si volvería de todas maneras .

Can't wait to come back - an amazing property with wonderful owners. Off in the middle of the forest - but close to town! I'll certainly be back!
