Villa Lu Amazon Ecolodge is situated on the edge of the Cerro Escalera Regional Conservation Area, just 5 minutes from the center of Tarapoto. The lodge features 13 rooms set amidst tropical gardens, a swimming pool overlooking the forest, a restaurant serving local cuisine, and a staff team rated 9.7 by our guests. The rooms do not have air conditioning; the cool climate of the high jungle and ceiling fans ensure a comfortable stay.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Es un lugar un poco apartado del centro pero donde verdaderamente puedes estar en contacto con la naturaleza y con total comodidad. Lo mejor fue la amabilidad y la calidad del servicio de todos los empleados del lodge. Definitivamente vamos a volver.

Probablemente el único punto en contra es que no está cerca al centro, para quien desee estar más cerca a todo. Por mi lado, era justo lo que buscábamos.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and professional. I stayed for 5 nights on my own and then my daughter and family joined me. Great place to stay as a solo traveller or as a family. I'd definitely return!

When I was there on my own there weren't many guests. They just asked what I wanted for breakfast instead of giving me a menu. When others arrived we had a great buffet breakfast and that was when I realised I'd been missing out on some very nice food for the previous 5 days!
