Delicious breakfast offered by the host, lovely pool at the facility and is a walking distance from almost all the attractions on the island. Carol was exceptionally helpful before and during our stay.

Staff was amazing, welcoming, supportive, and friendly from the first until the last day. From the pick at the airport to the amazing breakfast, this accommodation is worth the money

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Caroline is a very good host which helped us maneuver our way through Lamu. She fixed our transport and organized our activities, and ensured we were with reliable people. The breakfast and kitchen was good as well. The beds are comfortable and the pool was clean and a great way to cool down in the humidity. We were offered a nice and spacious loft with a terrace, which we really enjoyed and would recommend!

Was a little noisy from the neighbors, but everything works out with some ear plugs. The shower could be warmer and have more pressure.

The ambiance, well manicured lawns and a very peaceful and quiet environment. Great breakfast and warm, kind and pleasant stewards and stewardess. Shout out to Caro, she's an amazing host.

If they can add lotion, toothpaste and shampoo to the toiletries and a bottle of water, it will be great.

Great value for money, amazing scenery from the roof terraces and the pool was perfect for cooling down in the heat. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything we required.

Our room was a little small.

Much (!) better than the hotels in Shela, this small hotel has everything you need for a relaxed and authentic Swahili-Arabic Lamu experience. Personal tip: Try the cafes in the bustle of Lamu town and do a Dow tour in the evening!

This is a very nice hotel in the Old Town set in a lovely 300 year old building comprising three houses. It's very pretty with lots of different stairways and areas where you can chill. It has a good pool and lovely staff. It's a five minute walk to the harbor. It is excellent value and breakfast was included.

It doesn't have air conditioning but it does have fans which are a little noisy but everything works.

Jannat House is a stylish historic house located in the heart of the old town, with amazing atmosphere, very friendly staff including Caroline who helps with the most important issues, very tasty breakfast. Highly recommended
