Uros Titicaca Lodge

Carlos and his family are so lovely and cute. He arranged a taxi by his friend Yoni for us to bring us to the Puerto. The boat leaving time was flexible to bring us to his Island - as it was Carlos boat, we didn’t have to pay extra. Carlos and his family made nice dinner for us, and also the breakfast was nice. Dinner was only 25 soles extra and a traditional activity tour in the morning around 2hrs was also only 25 soles. As part of the traditional tour, Carlos was driving us around with his boat and greeting the community, he showed us the local kindergarden, school etc. on the islands! We stopped on an island where locals showed us how the islands are restocked, traditional clothes etc. We absolutely loved it! Carlos also speaks pretty good English! It is very interesting what he has to tell. Just as note, it gets very cold at night and very hot at day. For night time they have a heater and many blankets.

Nothing - only thing is of course this is a floating island. So be prepared that water or electricity do not always work best.

Extremely kind owners, exceptional food and a location to remember. The rooms are huge and the interior modern and of good taste, each with a private terrace. Unbelievably cozy beds.

Awesome! So beautiful! Very unique experience. The owner and the tour guide Ivan is very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much from him! Please read the message from the lodge before confirming your booking to make sure you are comfortable with all conditions. This is " eco lodge" and they use solar system to heat the water so keep that in mind. Also, take plenty of warm cloth. breakfast and dinner included, you have to pay extra for lunch. I would highly recommend to grab a snack so you can have something in between meals. We only stayed one night so we only had time for Uros islands but I would totally stay second night to visit Tequille island.

Tit was cold and we went during warm season ... so make sure to bring plenty of warm clothes. They do have many warm blankets though and heat up bedroom at night

The Lodge needs a lot of care/repair. Garbage laying around the island. Breakfast is very basic. No English speaking guide available for tours when were there

Such a gorgeous place to stay with stunning views. We were very well looked after. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the numerous lounge areas were great.

Nothing. As long as you’re expecting off grid, you’ll love it.
