NZSuch a fun place to stay and so comfortable. Loved the boat ride, went for a swim, super comfy beds and amazing sunset view and sunrise on the hills.

CAUros Titicaca Lodge is a must if you are wanting to do a homestay, experience Lake Titicaca, and just slow down. It is located away from the other touristy accommodations on Uros Island (about 20 minutes from the port by boat) so it is very serene and tranquil. You'll see the occasional boat go by, but the only people around are the other guests. I loved having my own deck to just relax, read, and take in the surrounding beauty. Ivan was a wonderful host. He offers a couple of boat tour options where you can experience how local families are living and sustaining themselves on the lake. A hearty breakfast is included, with lunch and dinner available at an extra cost. The food was delicious. I wish had booked an additional night!
Honestly, I liked my entire stay!
NLThe location is a floating island (Uros) and the houses are built on the island owned by (the family of) Carlos. You really feel part of the family! They took great care of us and gave great tips on where to go (like tour to the Island Taquile and Ruines of Sillustani): and arranged it for us (and transported us by boat to the Harbour of Puno everytime for free for that transit).

TWIvan and his families are super cute and nice, we felt really comfortable to stay at the lodge although I only speak limited Spanish! Also, dinner and breakfast are delicious.

Cold (6 deg) by 6 pm, but the heating was not on until after dinner at 7:30 pm I stayed for 5 nights, but 3 would have been enough. Low water pressure and intermittent WiFi due to location
