Excellent breakfast nice lounge

The whole stay was great, super location just 20 minutes walk from the station, right on the race track and ever so quiet. Room was lovely, bed was great and the towels were so fluffy!!! All the staff I met were so warm and welcoming - really great, many thanks

Mix up with my breakfast but even this was handled very quickly and considerately by the lovely staff.

The location as it’s in the York city and close to most of the things and the hotel also has a free car park.

Rooms are too much noisy. You can hear what other people are talking in the room next to you. You get up very early because of all the noises coming from outside.

It was ok. Nothing special.

Breakfast was very good. Staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful. Parking excellent. Location excellent. Very good value for money.

Gardens looking neglected. People smoking outside main entrance.

It was nice in the lobby , but the room carpet, curtains and furniture could do with renewing.

The under staff were brilliant, down to earth and helped out, my first impressions weren’t great though , the manager (or who looked like the manager) didn’t seem welcoming at all while checking us in, maybe me and my son weren’t the type of customer he liked? He looked at my son for a second and asked for ID , don’t know if he was thinking i was trying to get my son on a free place as he’s 17, he has social communication difficulties at the best of times. Breakfast was really nice.

The location was really good, the room was clean and spacious. We had the windows open all night and I didn't hear any road noise. The breakfast was delicious

The tv didn't connect to streaming (I'm undecided if that is a good or bad thing!). The coffee machines were a bit temperamental. Children's pizza was a bit dry and over cooked.
