The windows in the room didn’t open so had bad condensation on windows Room was cold when we went in Also very noisy as above outside entrance and seating/smoking area There was a large wine list with not a lot of wine available Food was not that fab for the price Although breakfast was nice

The place is very pretty. However, we had a Sunday roast and we're very disappointed. I didn't think it was value for money. The roast is £19. The beef was the only good thing on the plate. It was cooked properly and was tasty there just wasn't a lot of it. The Yorkshire pudding was cold and burned. The brussels tasted mildew, they were frozen not fresh, the stuffing ball was so small it was hard to spot on the plate. I don't think frozen veg should be served at £19 a person. Very disappointed! Also, a fried ordered the crumble it was VERY small and was more jam then fruit, I had to ask for custard because the amount given was ridiculous. I won't be returning there for Sunday lunch.

Location was perfect.

There was no lift. No real reception to greet you. Car park very tight. Bathroom had cobwebs in corners and lock was broken.

The inability for the bath to drain quickly

We travelled for a funeral at the nearby crematorium. The staff were excellent when we explained.
