I was informed after having paid that there is a curfew and I wouldn’t be able to access my room after 00:00. I wasn’t able to rearrange transportation, so had to find alternative accommodation, and was told at the front desk I couldn’t have a refund. On the booking.com page “No Curfew” is listed.

GBVery welcoming and just a natural relaxing pub in a great location. Great traditional values and idiosyncratic in the best way. Parking isn't close so has to be considered as Smithfield is possibly the closest. 15 mins walk but great value. Will return !!!

The week before we emailed to book a table for dinner. After no reply in 48 hours we phoned and were told that the restaurant was fully booked for an event. It would have been great if we had known in advance.
GBLovely welcome and friendly staff, Steve and Karen made us feel at home and helpful in recommending things to do locally. Shout out to Angie and Sue too, a great team. Excellent food and a friendly vibe in the bar. We had breakfast there on both mornings that was really nice and set us up for the day.
Due to the age of the property, floors upstairs creaked and shower pressure wasn't brilliant but it is a very old building so sure there is nothing that can be done about that.
