Comfortable bed . Fish pie and fish and chips were good. The elderly gentleman in the dining room at breakfast was lovely x

The staff were very relaxed and friendly and really helpful. The atmosphere of the Lister Arms was lovely and comfortable and clean. The evening meal we both chose was gorgeous, the olives were muuuuwa:). The pie was scrumptious and just the right size, and the rice pudding with caramel just topped it all off with scrumminess. The breakfast the next morning was run with utmost efficiency and friendliness and was also very tasty. Love the real log fires

Perhaps the toasting for the bread could be a quicker process more so when more people start coming in. This would prevent the queues and breakfasts getting cold. :) Although the room in the Lister Barn was lovely, I didn't feel it reflected the price on this occasion as there were a couple of bits and bobs that required some work, however, we learnt that the room is due for refurbishment. This will then definitely be worth the price. This is not a complaint however and doesn't change our feeling and wonderful experience of the Lister Arms at all, its more of a constructive observation.

Excellent location. Cosy and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and restaurant.

Maybe reduce the amount of hollaindaise sauce on the breakfast options. Was a little swamped

We stayed down the road in the barn and it was great for a family stay, spacious with a separate garden area as well as the communal spaces inside and out. Breakfast was good. Pleased oat milk was provided.

We had a garden room but this meant that there were other residents above and it was noisy as they moved around. It would be good if there were a couple of outdoor items in the games box (which I only discovered on check out!) We had dinner in the pub which was also good and GM was very accommodating as it was a busy evening, but some of the waiting staff were more attentive than others and we had a long wait for our meal. Mattresses were comfortable but the bed was pretty squeaky

Great food and selection of beers, very friendly and efficient staff, beautiful buildings, spotlessly clean.

Everything was lovely. Walking straight from the door to Malham Cove and beyond. We will definitely return.
