Location great, historic pub, breakfast options were good. Central / accessible, walkable from station.

Very noisy room - road & deliveries. Breakfast not included, which was surprising. A little bit shabby.

Great family room with direct entrance from carpark, near an electric charger (2 available). Great view from the room and great place! Very enjoyable area, friendly and relaxed, only 30 minutes from Windermere (super busy on Bank Hols). Food was nice and service was good. Would love to come back!

Cleaning under beds can be improved.

Cleanliness of the bathroom could improve

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms very clean. They even had fans in the rooms which we were extremely grateful for as it was a heatwave.

There was nothing to dislike

Really well placed for the shops and estuary.

Tiny single room. Bed springs had gone, bed uncomfortable & noisy. Bathroom shabby. Poor sleep. As we hadn’t booked food in advance dinner & breakfast was unavailable. Basically told to look elsewhere for food. Upon checkout the male staff member barely made eye contact from the bar area & was more concerned I could fully recall the room names than how my stay was. Appalling service. Basic, dated & a bit shabby. Would not stay here again.

The location is fantastic for exploring the local area. The staff are excellent and the breakfast is tasty.
