Hotel Heliconias Nature Inn & Hot Springs

Vackert ställe mitt i regnskogen. Lugnt, tyst.

Restaurangen levde inte upp till det brand som stället i övrigt strävade till. Bungalowen var ganska asketisk.

Nuestro objetivo era descansar y relajarnos, y fue fabuloso, las habitaciones son muy lindas y se han cuidado mucho los detalles de limpieza, decoración, etc. Las aguas termales a una temperatura fabulosa y el personal extraordinariamente amable. Volveremos.

Todo me gustó, sin embargo, creo que hace falta iluminar mejor donde están las aguas termales para poder ir en la noche con seguridad. Y respecto al restaurante, sería genial que tuviera servicio a la habitación, pero en general me gustó mucho todo.

Our stay at Heliconias was generally excellent. The staff was great and when we had a lot of ants in our original room (it is the jungle :), they moved us to a bigger room right away. Breakfast was good, best gallo pinto we had in CR, though a bit repetitive after a couple of days. The room was clean, bathroom was great and everything worked well. Location wise, it is a bit farther from La Fortuna and the attractions beyond that. I didn't realize that 17km in CR can be up to 30 mins each way. But if you're looking for a nice getaway away from everything else, Heliconias is awesome!

Very peaceful atmosphere and beautiful to explore around the grounds. Staff was top notch and rooms very charming and clean!

Nothing to dislike

El personal del hotel brinda un trato muy cordial y servicial. La habitación es muy cómoda; las camas, confortables, y el baño se mantiene impecablemente limpio. Sin embargo, lo más espectacular es la ubicación y el diseño de las habitaciones: todas están separadas entre sí, rodeadas de árboles y abundante vegetación, lo que ofrece privacidad y una conexión especial con la naturaleza. La lluvia, la neblina y el camino húmedo crean una atmósfera que se vuelve un recuerdo verdaderamente inolvidable. La comida es muy buena y variada, y además se pueden observar muchas aves durante la estancia.

I loved everything at this property.

The property is beautiful and huge, they have hot spring pools but not very hot, a regular pool, a small farm with some animals, a pond which attracts lots of birds and frogs at night! Staff very friendly! Restaurant is awesome

It was a long way from town 35-40 min drive on very curvy road

The service alone was exceptional - everyone was so incredibly friendly and unimaginably accommodating . The property was beyond beautiful and extremely well kept with attention to detail - the tree house was clean and comfortable with daily cleaning/bed making. There is so much to experience and never a dull moment between the thermal pools, regular pool, nature walk through the forest, animals, soccer field etc including a restaurant with amazing food and drinks . We would return here again and again , it felt like a dream walking around the property . This place is a hidden gem you won’t regret booking here !!

Hotel staff are very helpful. The grounds are beautiful, and the room was clean and comfortable.

The location is a bit distant from many touristic sites ... but it worked well for us.
