Beautiful location, room surrounded by trees. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and restaurant was fantastic. Had dinner and breakfast there everyday, food and service 5 star.

Some things need a bit if an update like the towels

Peaceful retreat in the mountains near La Fortuna. We enjoyed the privacy of the hot springs, the hospitality of the staff, and the food.

It’s a bit far from La Fortuna, but if you don’t mind the driving, it’s a great place to stay at an affordable price.

Location is good but a bit remote for some activities.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings - the photos really don’t do it justice. Amazing to be able to do a 30-40 min hike in the property. Property felt intimate and well designed. Breakfast was massive and really tasty! Lots of options. We ate dinner there 4 nights and really enjoyed the ‘casados’ (local dish) - really big portions. The staff are SO friendly. Diego took us on a lovely tour of the property on arrival, and Alejandro greeted us like old friends. I had a fabulous massage!

There was quite a strong sulphur smell in the bathroom from a nearby septic tank but it was well confined to that room. I wouldn’t say I disliked it because I knew in advance - but it is worth saying the property is a 30min drive from La Fortuna. For us, that was worth it as the hotel was so lovely, but important to note!
