Mambo Paradise

Owners are incredible and can help you book excursions or transportation anywhere you want to go. They helped us arrange 4 days worth of activities, and we'd decide the night before what we wanted to do the next day. They had great advice in what was worth seeing. Room was beautiful and great that they could accommodate three people in one room. Wifi was a little iffy and only available in the restaurant. But would absolutely recommend and plan to visit again.

The managers and staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The room was large and beautiful. The upstairs terrace has a splendid view and is comfortable. The staff helped us to arrange fun activities according to our preferences. Breakfast was good. The hotel is located far away from everything- which is nice if this is what you expect, but can be difficult if you want to go somewhere or do things around.

The water in the bathroom is SALT water. No wifi in the room, only upstairs. It is written in booking.com that the hotel provides laundry services, however this is not the case. The beach outside the hotel is lovely, but full of boats so swimming is impossible. The restaurant was not to our (mediterranean) taste.

The location and the facility itself are beautiful! The host/owner Kasia is kind, caring and very accommodating. She made her stay extremely comfortable and pleasant. The restaurant food was fantastic especially the fresh caught seafood. The hotel staff was extremely attentive and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.

The air conditioning was a little bit weak as it tended to take a while to really cool down the room, which made it a little bit hard to sleep with the high humidity in Zanzibar. Although going upstairs to the restaurant level was comfortable because there was always a breeze.

This small 7 room hotel is owned and operated by a polish couple which is most helpful and pleasant. The lady of the house is a former Tv presenter, and she and her husband are there daily to help the customers with whatever they need on a very flexible and friendly manner. They will give you recommendations on all possible excursions and dos and don’ts in Zanzibar. The hotel has an excellent restaurant with good seafood and with only local and fresh raw material, the meals are cooked specially for you so they will adjust it to any wishes you might have. The scenery is nice with white beaches and a calm and quite atmosphere, you can walk freely during evenings. You can also choose to walk to other restaurants nearby.

The hotel is in a very quiet area, which good for some, but too quiet for others. You can only go to other places by car. The hotel is close to a minaret in the small fishing village. The pool is clean, with good circulation, but small. The beach outside the hotel has no swimming possibilities because it is a shallow lagoon inside a reef, to swim you need to walk to other beached nearby.

Our experience of zanzibar cannot be complete without this resort. Truly a paradise. I give them an 11/10. You might think this is an over exaggeration, and yes, it is not. Why? Because they also don't hold back on their sensitivity. The staff in mambo have sensitivity on 20/10. Whatever they lack as a facility, they make up for in sensitivity. Truly, they do not lack much. Clean, airy, spacious, noiseless, very clean again. Now to the sensitive part; they need to be given a thripple thumbs up thats why I give them 20/10. They will TAKE CARE OF YOU. They make sure you are comfy, always asking if yoh are fine and even if you are not happy they go out of their way to make you happy. As much as you pay for this service they make it worth the while. MAMBO IS A PARADISE OF SENSITIVE PEOPLE WHO WANT YOU TO ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY AND BE AT PEACE NO MATTER HOW SHORT OR LENGTHY YOUR STAY IS. THEIR MANAGER IS A GEM. I'D GO AGAIN IF I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY. Absolutely nothing

Nice and clean spot on the beach. Gorgeous sunrise and moon. I was able to park my moto on site. Easy to get to just a mile off the main road. Kasia, the owner and her staff were amazingly kind and very helpful. Actually, I forgot to bring back a wall adapter for my plug. The pool was super nice overlooking the water. I think I had the best breakfast of my life there. Dinner was fresh tuna with seared vegetables and some great glazed sauces over rice. Great presentation and colors if you are a foodie. I will definitely be back with a group sometime soon. Trust me on this, you have to go ✌️

Nice location, directly on the beach. The property is kept very clean, the food was good. The host is very helpful and explained to us everything that we could do/visit and organized transfers for us.

The water in the bathroom is salty. WiFi reception is spotty. Portions at the restaurant are small.

All the staffs are really nice and anytime when you need help they will take actions immediately. Good view in the room and at the restaurant. Delicious food and nice drinks! Highly recommended !
