Cuttle Bridge Inn Hotel - NEC / Birmingham Airport

The location was perfect. Nice hot shower. The reception staff were friendly. I felt safe travelling alone.

The room and the bathroom was tired looking and needs some updating. The bed was fairly comfy but the pillows were not. No hairdryer so it was lucky I took my own. No complimentary shampoo or shower gel.

It was in a lively spot next to the canal. The room was clean and comfortable. The guy at the hotel was friendly and welcoming. We were there after a late flight to ensure I wasn’t driving tiered but it’s such a nice spot it would be good for the NEC or just generally good for going into Birmingham.

It’s a little difficult to find as the sat nav took me down the wrong street. That’s not the fault of the hotel though.

It is very run down. The bed was uncomfortable the mattress felt lumpy. The hot tap was missing & the bathroom needed cleaning as it was had black mould all in the shower & on the shower hose. The place needs a revamp.
