Close to Congleton where I was visiting my mother. Lovely friendly atmosphere in the bar, and I even joined in the Thursday pub quiz. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Room was very comfortable & clean, and it had a good sized bathroom and super walk-in shower. Wish this place was my local, so will definitely be back.

Slightly I intrusive noise from the motor of a fan somewhere outside close to my room, but I still managed to sleep fairly well, and wouldn't prevent me from returning to The Bear's Head.
