Bed wa clean

Very dated and because of this old smell and unclean in places

it was cheap

the dustmen come around at 4:30am, and having to give a £100 deposit, i didn't know about

The room was clean, imaculate.

Better coffee brands and milk

The hotel was in the city center amd staff were really nice

No toothpaste

Staff were friendly and good location 🥰

Needs some refurbishment but was comfortable

This property was in a great location for my race. Close enough to the station and to the waterfront. it was comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

It got very noisy when I wanted to go to bed, so I had to close the window which helped but it made it very hot inside.

The location was great, close to shops bars, restaurants. So if you are unfortunate enough not to get service at the hotel then at least you can go elsewhere where.

The room was dated. No USB and we left our plug behind. Drawer missing and dirty carpet. The net curtain was also grubby. Light in bathroom came on as it’s a sensor, very bright and you have to wait for it to go out. Paint on bathroom floor. Hot shower that couldn’t be turned down, no instructions on how to use it as it was a combination tap for shower and bath. Very noisy corridors people coming and going after drinking late. Couldn’t purchase hot drinks or glass of wine etc when staff was cashing up, only one person so not able to serve you. £100 holding deposit taken even though we paid for the room on booking.com in advance. It stated on booking.com that we didn’t have to pay anything else, yet the hotel still requested £100 deposit. I’ve never had to pay anything like this before and have stayed in many hotels/bed and breakfast/hostels/albergues across Spain/france and Portugal Still have not received holding deposit two Two weeks and counting. My advice would be to pay cash and then request it back once you check out. I would understand paying a holding deposit if the room was of a higher standard.
