The Olde Malthouse Inn

Great location in central Tintagel close to the castle with private parking extremely helpful staff

This was our second stay at Ye Olde Malthouse, and our room was at the back, with a view of a small neglected courtyard. The bed was very comfy, tea and coffee facilities in the room were excellent, a big TV, and the bathroom while small had everything we needed. The handbasin was in the room. Overall this was a good stay but we missed having a view. The staff as previously were lovely and went out of their way to be helpful.

Our window onto the little courtyard looked straight across at a window of the 'family suite' at the rear. A bit of planting would improve the outlook and give privacy. There was loud water hammer sometimes.

Location to castle, evening meal in restaurant very good! Parking is good. Staff friendly, attentive and wanted to please.

Room size

Great food at the pub, the room was lovely and clean. A great location, easy to walk to everything in the area and handy parking out the back. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend!
