The Olde Malthouse Inn

Breakfast was excellent, good variety and freshly prepared. Great location for exploring Tintagel and surrounding area. Fantastic staff made to feel very welcome.

We went to the Malthouse after liking the look of it in Four In A Bed, and wanting to go to Tintagel anyway. The visit exceeded my expectations in every respect - incredibly friendly and helpful staff, a lovely room, clean and quiet, and excellent meals at breakfast and dinner. The location was superb, and the building impressive. In all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay, and one I’d like to repeat at the earliest opportunity.

I genuinely cannot think of anything that could be improved. The only issue we had was outside the scope of the Malthouse’s responsibility, namely the sporadic public transport, but the hotel itself was faultless.

Das Personal ist sehr gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Einrichtung sowie die Zimmer sind stilvoll gestaltet, jedoch für grosse und etwas üppige Menschen können die Zimmer einengend wirken.

Great location with close by parking, friendly staff, good breakfast and dinners. Funky old building but we thought that added to its charm.

Nothing, it was a fun stay!

The staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. The food was excellent especially the delicious full Cornish breakfast. Rooms were warm, clean and very comfortable. A great location for exploring the Cornish area.
