The Bell Hotel Aylesbury

Nice big room . Good temperature in room . Not too hot .

The downstairs area , public area very poor .

The room was very nice, spacious for 2 people although it was a fair climb up the stairs to reach, it was the room farthest from the reception and the stairs are quite steep, especially when carrying luggage.

We ate an evening meal on arriving Chicken / ribs & Chicken Skewers. To say the chicken on both plates was "overcooked" would be an understatement, everything was very dry. The wait for 2 of our fellow guests meals to arrive was over 45 minutes, we had finished our main course before theirs arrived. As a result we decided to skip the breakfast in the morning which was already paid for and go to a cafe in the square as a "safer" option. When leaving the car parking at a local multi storey car park failed, meaning I had to pay to retrieve my vehicle and will now have to contact the parking provider to try to get reimbursed for the parking fee already paid when we booked the room.

Clean and tidy friendly staff and a good breakfast

The pub its self is tired and needs a bit of TLC but I was really surprised in the room. Very clean, lovely bathroom and facilities in the room good with lots of Tea/coffee. was expecting to be noisy but it was not

My only problem window was near the extractor fan for kitchen and could smell a lot of chips
