Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa

It was pretty but definitely needs some work doing felt very run down and not complete and outdated.

The spa didn’t feel or look clean the tiles had cracks and some missing by the hot tub. It didn’t feel the cleanest in my room was lots of dust everywhere and marks on the carpet and bed had hairs in it.

Room was quiet , nice location

No fridge in room , no air con or fan windows only opened a little Children utilising pool for swimming lessons One lift out of order

For a Penthouse Suite it was tired, drab and more focussed around a formal work room not a plush Penthouse to relax in! Hotel is trying to please too many people and needs to refocus on either business or pleasure particularly in the Penthouse department. The lift was also not working to the top floor and no immediate work going on to rectify or carry the luggage up!

Rooms were fine, but running of hotel was totally disorganised. Bills were unreadable and restaurant didn’t have clue. Staff were trying but lot of things went wrong.

Great room with a separate living area. Bath with jets and free mini bar. Lovely breakfast.

Bar was shut on return at 12.20 am and no room service for food as shuts at 11.

Location was not good o restaurants or shops nearby it was a new town. The hotel was fine and food excellent especially for my husband who is a coeliac. Staff lovely and very helpful.

Room slightly dated and hotel in an area with not much to do eg one pub and outside restaurant!

Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and hot. Room facilities ok.

Thought the bar would be open for drinks and snacks when we got back at 12.20 am

Clean, spacious room

No air conditioning in the room, bar was closed at midnight on a Saturday evening.
