Property Notes

For all guests arriving at the hotel, we reserve the right to pre-authorize a credit or debit card for the room rate per night plus an additional £50 per night for extras. The hotel is not charging your credit card. A pre-authorization is a security guarantee for payment only. Any excess pre-authorization will be released on the day of departure.If you cannot provide the hotel with a credit or debit card on check-in to pre-authorize, full prepayment will be required on arrival. Once the pre-authorization has been completed, you may charge items to your room during your stay by presenting your room key card wallet and signing for the transaction. Hotel Guests are welcome to use the Health Club facilities including the swimming pool from 3pm on day of arrival until 11am on day of departure. Please see below our dedicated Children swim times: Monday > Friday: 09:00 - 10.00 (Summer holidays only) and 14:30 - 18:30, Saturday & Sunday: 08:30 - 10:30 and 14:30 - 16:30Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

The hotel was lovely and clean we used the swimming pool which was lovely and had a perfect meal in the restaurant. Breakfast in the morning was also lovely

"Lovely hotel . We visited a lovely Grantchester village"

We had an evening meal it was lovely good. The lady Beth is very nice lady and who can bit sign language though we are profoundly deaf

"Good hotel , Location, & staff"

Stayed here before and liked the location ,food good ate in 2 nights for dinner . All staff were good , but Lachlan stood out as exceptional, very attentive, good communnication with customers. He is a credit & good ambassador for the Hotel , well done

Amazed that you ran out of Chocolate Muffins on Sunday morning for such a large hotel Raisins ran out on Cereal section on the Friday , asked for if there were any , despite a member of staff looking there were non. How can you run out of raisins !! , non available Saturday & Sunday. Several times at breakfasts had to ask for items & hot water ( as was empty). As a gripe this should not happen Check out on Sunday with one lady on reception overun customers leaving. A big shout to her forcoping as best she could. Perhaps you need 2 persons on the reception for that.

The de-luxe double room was a really good size with a large and very comfortable bed in a nice quiet location. It was very good to have a fridge available to store food/drink overnight before our onward journey. Location was a little strange being immediately adjacent to a retail park which in the event actually proved to be very useful

Very noisy in the bar, restaurant and corridors due to fairly low solid ceilngs and mostly tiled floors. The Leisure Club was quite busy with lots of non-guest gym members etc including childrenS very
