Room not serviced on our 2 night stay

Evening meal was lovely, good honest pub food, thoroughly enjoyed it, tasty, hot and plenty. Breakfast was good value and very good.

Seating in the pub could be better.

Location for visiting family

Check in we waited a while for someone to come to the desk The first night we had a super hard bed and woke up with bad backs like sleeping on the floor bed was so so hard We asked to be moved and got a different room with a much comfier bed. The shower in both rooms looked like they needed a good scrub and in the second room, around the shower looked like it was rotten and falling away There was also mould and something growing just outside our first room Staff were friendly and we had a night cap in the bar one evening

The room was spacious , bed very comfortable and tea coffee facilities outstanding. Location is perfect for visiting family. Room nice and warm once the heating comes on (seemed to be on a timer)

The green exit light illuminated the whole bedroom. Rather too bright. Too much road noise as room situated on busy junctions. Shower head needs a good de-scaling as not all the outlets worked which was a shame being a large overhead shower.

Amazing breakfast. Room had lots of character. Beautiful location. Nice and quiet at night.
