Breathtaker Hotel and Spa

It’s clean and cosy. Staff are exceptional. I am very pleased with the services provided.

Rooms are too small for 2 adults and 2 children. Spiral staircase is extremely dangerous

Rooms didn’t have enough space - I’d much prefer to stay in a larger chalet.

The staff were very willing to help, however, the place was understaffed on Sunday. The driver was fantastic, friendly, helpful, and proactive. The happy hour drink was nice. I wish we could have had one when we departed at 3 on Sunday though.

There was someone else’s hair on our shower wall and dirty socks under our couch, so the cleanliness should have been better. The facilities in our room were small and dated. The TV was very small, old, and terrible quality. There were DVD’s, but we found this very out of date. The DVD player wasn’t plugged in properly. There was no instruction manual for the heater, so we were cold until we called for assistance on the second day. The apartment was much tinier than expected. They wouldn’t let us in the spa at 5.30, even though it doesn’t close until 6. One of our bags was lost until we followed it up. While we were getting the “tour” of the hotel, they ran out of happy hour snacks, which we were looking forward to.

Picked up from our bus at arrival, happy hour, complimentary breakfast, the day spa, and the staff, especially Aisling and Miranda.

Unfortunately our dinner at the restaurant had a table of very noisy children nearby. Staff tried to be accommodating but it was detracted from our night. Our room wasn’t made up on the first day. Towels were taken and not replaced.
