The building was lovely, a former coaching inn, with some fine function rooms etc and much bigger than I'd anticipated. In a perfect location in the centre of the the town.

It was clean and the room was spacious and comfortable.
The room was sadly very cold and there was a party outside until 3 am so could not sleep well.

"Wouldn’t advise staying unless you had to."

Needs a lot of maintenance, lots of small obvious things like rot in bathroom, heating systems that don’t seem to work or they won’t switch them on to save money, Friday and Saturday nights rowdy noise until 2am. Also only stairs to bedrooms.
