Tikul Hotel Boutique

I really liked the hotel, it is very charming and comfortable. We had a wonderful time.

The hotel is a 20 min-walk from the city center, which is not an issue. But be aware that when it is raining the streets were flooded.

The staff went above and beyond to help us in any way. An exceptional service. The room was really nice and spacious. Only note remember to take a taxi from the pier to the hotel as it might be a bit long to walk there.

nothing, everything was better than expected! I would really reccomend this hotel to everyone.

The place is okay.

The island was flooded and full of rubbish and the beach is an artificial beach and it was impossible to walk outside the building as everything was flooded.. it took 1h to get to the hotel, we had to walk into puddles till our knees with frogs jumping everywhereI called the owner for help and she didn’t care, she only suggests to get a taxi, which accepts only cash. THERE IS NO ATM that accepts visa or Mastercard so we had no chance to withdrawal . the owner doesn’t even reply to the messages once got the money. There is no facilities that helps you to get out of the place. Outside smells like rotten egg. We had to leave after 18h even though we booked for three days.. I texted the owner saying we were leaving earlier and I am still waiting her message on whatsapp( it’s been 3 days) the place is too noisy, impossible to sleep. I wish I could share the videos!!

The hotel was clean, stuff very nice a d helpful, great location. 1km from the center but 200m to the best part of the beach.

They could think about some solutions for wet clothes to dry😅 that’s the only think from my side

Staff was great, room awesome, island was hit by a hurricane and power went off, owner and staff were really helpful and supportive, organized immediate Hotel exchange since power could not be restored in a timely manner! Great recommendation for a stay on Holbox!

Absolutely lovely. Would definitely book again. Very fast support and very friendly staff. Rooms are beautifully designed and it’s really nice that there are only a handful of rooms and guests.

There’s only one negative thing, if the streets are flooded it’s kind of tricky to get there… definitely not the fault of the property but to keep in mind.

The hotel is very pretty and new. The room looked exactly like the pictures. Staff are so lovely and always available. Tatiana was super responsive and made sure we’re being treated nicely.

The location was our main problem. It was far from the center, around a 23 minute walk. Unfortunately there are no restaurants or mini markets close to the hotel, so you feel isolated and far from everything. That side of the island is under a lot of construction, so that might change in the future. We were unlucky with the weather as it rained a lot and the roads turned into huge puddles so we had to order taxis every time we wanted to leave the hotel and that added unexpected expenses to our trip
