Grand Samota Hotel

All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. They always had a smile on their faces and were super friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant on site was quick and good as well.

It was very clean and well facilitated. Bed amazingly comfortable. We could check in early which was great.

I asked about the pick up from the airport and was told it’s free. When I asked to be picked up they stopped responding. Also i wanted to know about the ferry to Mojo Island and was told that is only local guides know, no more information. When I tried to get a vegetarian meal at the restaurant I asked to remove everything from the spaghetti and give it plain to me and I was still charged the whole price. I tried to catch up a little on my sleep because I had an early flight and a tour booked for the night. This was simply impossible due to the very loud music starting at 4pm until around 10pm. Maybe on another day I would have liked it. But in general I’d like to choose my bedtime hours by myself

Bed is very comfortable. Staff in reception and restaurant very kind. All the people seem nice. Food acceptable. Rooms are big.

The biggest problem this hotel has is cleanliness. Rooms are dirty. Shower hasn't been well cleaned for a year. Other guests' hair in bathroom, on the floor,... Spiders web in shower and main room. All the edges dirty, toilet smelling bad, you could still smell urine so I had to wash it myself. No proper cleaning at all. Edge on tiles dirty. Management should focus on CLEANING SERVICE!!! Restaurant should be closed down with glass walls and aircons added (see Kaloka hotel). It is too hot during the day in the restaurant! You can't enjoy your drink if it is 30+ degrees.

Dirty!!!! Everywhere in the room spiders and spidernets! Dead bugs! Dust and dirt everywhere! Really i have no idea how they dare to charge bali prices in here! Wifi: logs u out in every 5-10 min. You need to put login and password all day many many times. Also… very weak wifi, u get a weak signal that takes ages to load a page. Reataurant: awful food. Tiny portion and looks like it was created for someone else before and reused on ur plate. Payment: No tap-pay. Need physical card. My room wasnt cleaned during my stay. I called reception and at 9 pm cleaner came with a broom to swipe here and there the dirt. I have loads of videos, but booking only allows to upload photos
